GM1 8-1 HCT: Following the usual script, SKE's defense and bullpen turn a 1-0 8th inning lead into a 8-1 loss! Highlights were homers in the 9th by Jones and Turner. Sonny Gray was excellent, allowing 1 run on 5 hits over 7 innings. GM2 12-5 SKE: Killers jump out to a 5-0 lead and hold it from there. Smith, Acuna, and Belt 3 RBI each. Taylor had 4 hits for the Comet. GM3: 9-2 SKE: Killers got homers from Acuna, Berti, and Happ and Killers pitching allowed only 5 hits for an easy win. Gavin Stone makes his CTCBL debut in a mop up 9th inning. GM5: 6-5 HTC. See Game 1. Peralta blows 4-run lead thanks to a FB-X, P-5 puk turns a double play, and Vazquez hits a 1-4 homer to win it. #1- Whales host FYS and are the perfect hosts. Suzuki has 5 hits, Arraez has 3 for Whales and FYS cruises 15-2. #2-Whales take a 5-3 lead, but Suspenders come back with five in the 8th and grab the 9-5 win. #3- Whales and 'spenders do battle one last time at the Whale dome. Back and forth they go. Rogers is really the DH--3 for 3 with 7 ribbies after 2 homers. Whales tally 5 in 6th and 7th and hold on for the series finale 11-8 | 3 games | |

A stirring walk-off HR in extras of G1 highlighted a 3-game sweep of all close games. It was Netplayed, adding to the fun. The game was deadlocked at 3 after nine full innings. Finally, Mystic pulled the game out in the 10th inning. Chas McCormick began the rally when he slapped a single. After an out was recorded, Luke Raley came to bat and belted a three-run homer resulting in an exciting win for Mystic and a wild post-game celebration by the home town fans.
