Game Two the Villagers did find 6 hits, and luckily 4 of them were HRs, as MYV held on to win (A Yasmani Grandal 2R HR in the 9th made things tight) the game 8-7. | 2 games

Villagers steal G1 of a classic pitching duel (?) by scoring two runs in the 9th (benefit of a catcher's interference for the first baserunner, and a WP scoring the winning run). Game Two was the same, except SHS held up to their end of the bargain and win 2-1. | 2 games

MFM wins game 1. For the next 4 games, the Moles NEVER LED!!!!!!!!! We played from behind every game! 2 takeaways from NetPlaying Doug: 1. The Moles will greatly underachieve this year. I thought we'd be in contention for a playoff berth. No chance that will happen. 2. Doug's team is much better than he says it is. He has a very good bullpen and solid starters. He has 'platonability'. This was a tough, frustrating series- and it's only week 1! | 5 games

Gm1 6-2 SKE: Trailing 2-0 in the 3rd, Pache hits a 2-run bomb and Palacious follows up with a 3-run homer, plating 5 and driving Kershaw from the game. Lynch servicable in the win. Gm2 11-4 GTG: The Generals had enough of Killers pitching and unloaded on Mikolas for 11 runs and 16 hits. Stott serviced notice leading off the game with a homer and Germantown never looked back. Arenado 2-5 with a homer and 5 RBI, Scott and Contreras 3 hits and a homer each. Gm3 5-4 SKE: Germantown took a 4-0 lead with 2 runs on 3 hits in the 2nd, a solo shot by Contreras in the 3rd, and back to back doubles for Moniak and Drury in the 6th. Bassitt was cruising until the wheels came off in the 8th. Bassitt walked the first 2 batters, bringing in Nardi who quickly induced a double play. He then walked the next batter and the defense collapsed: Arcia with a 2 base error that should have ended the inning for 1-run, a walk, 2-run double for Acuna, and 2 run double for Belt on a flyball-X to CF, for a total of 5 runs. The Generals threatened in the 8th, leaving 2, and then Ginkel closed it out 1-2-3 in the 9th. Gm4: 5-4 SKE: Killers scored 3 in the bottom of the 7th on 3 hits, highlighted by an Acuna triple, to break a 2-2 tie. The Generals scored 2 in the 9th on a Grichuk double but Ginkel got the final 2 outs for the shaky save. Burger 3 hits for Southboro. | 4 games
