The Strat Gods reign hate down on us. SHS gets great starts from Alcantara and Verlander only to see the bullpen cough up the game in the late innings. G1 SHS with a 4-0 Lead the Sharks give up a 4 spot in the 7th to tie the game and a 4 spot in the 10 to lose it. G2 close game with the Shibas holding a 4-3 edge going into the 9th. A 3r HR to Duvall seals the deal. SSS takes the finale with a 5-3 win. Both of us had our moments as there were a couple of bunt PO for DP and a few 20 split rolls on the 1-19 ballpark singles. G1: Dylan Carlson hit 2 HRs and the Polar Bears got solid pitching from Lorenzen, Puritt & Williams. NPP, 6-3. G2: Elder & Irvin dueled and relievers kept it close at 2-2 through 10 innings. Polar Bears erupted for 5 runs in the 11th on a walk and 5 singles. NPP, 7-3. G3: Jose Cisnero came in with a 1-run lead in the 9th and retired all 3 batters, 2 on strikeouts. But he didn't get the save! Why? Because the starter only went 4-2/3 so Cisnero got the win! Baseball rules are real dumb sometimes. FYS, 3-2. G4: Wind blowing out? Nort Pole had a 4-run 1st inning highlighted by Hillegas's 3-run double, then a 5-run 7th inning with 5-consecutive hits culminating with a 2-run Noda HR. NPP, 12-6. | 4 games | |
