G1: Gerritt Cole was in Cy Young form: 8IP, 5H, 1R, 11K to raise his record to 18-4. Bednar nailed his 28th save. OSS, 3-1. G2: Not much drama as OSS led the entire game. Down 5-0, Keibert ruined the shutout with an 8th inning HR. FYS brought the tying run to the plate in the 9th when they loaded the bases with 1 out, but Matt Strahm threw one pitch and Santander hit it into a game-ending DP. OSS, 5-1 G3: Down 9-2 after 5, FYS scored 7 in the final 3 frames of regulation to send the game to extras. But Carlos Estevez couldn't handle the mighty Stripers offense in the 10th. Ocean State had 10 extra base hits in the game. PS, Ryne Nelson now sports an ERA of 8.66. OSS, 11-9 in 10. | 3 games | |

#1- Gray pitches well, Burger drives in 3 and SKE wins the opener 6-2. #2- Cobb gets the Whales into the midgame where they jump out to a 5-1 lead, then hold on for dear life. Whales 5 SKE 3. #3-Whales get a big late inning two run shot from Gallo and win this one 6-4. #4-- Corbin starts for Cold Harbor.. need I say more? Corbin has his 6.78 ERA steady as she goes and Jeffers 3 ribbies lead the way for a 9-2 SKE split. | 4 games | |

Gm1: 6-2 SKE. Killers score 4 in the first and don't look back despite being outhit 8-6 (the 11 walks helped). Burger 2 hits and 2 RBI. Gm2: 6-1 SKE. Brandon Marsh hits 2-out granny in first and Killers pitchers allowed only 7 runners and zero earned runs for easy win. Gm3: 13-7 SKE. Lopez up to his usual, allowing homers to Trout and Arraez in the first for a 4-0 CHW lead, Killers score 6 in the 3rd on 6 singles, walk, and SF. Whales score 3 in the 4th after Volpe gaffes a DP ball, Torres with 3-run bomb gives Killers lead for good in 5th. Pablo "Ace" Lopez a key reason the Killers have under acheived, only 11-11 with a 4.61 ERA and 30 HR allowed (only 24 in real life for the season, and I play in a pitchers park). | 3 games | |

Netplayed Series: G1 Gilbert vs Alcantara. SHS gets 2 runs in the bottom of the first on a Riley 2r HR. We make that stand up till top of 8th and Robertson gives up a Sac Fly to tie it all up. Still tied b9th and Abreu steps in to face Stephan and goes deep for a walk of win 3-2. G2 Red Bank jumps on Verlander for 4 runs in first inning and Cease cruises to the win. They tack on 2 more in the 7th on a Walker HR. Sharks manage 2 runs over the game and fall 6-2. G3 Sharks get crooked numbers in the 1st, 4th and the 8th. Garrett's line is 6.2 10h 7r 2bb 3k 1hr. Singer goes 6ip 6h 3r 2bb 3k and 3 HR. The Sharks bullpen hold serve and Yates gives up a lone HR to Moore as we take the rubber game 9-4 | 3 games | |
