Yes, it's an E! Didn't want people saying Feren-JIN-ar. G1: Suspenders garnered 14 hits, led by Goldy who hit 2 over the fence, and a 3-run shot by Keibert. A pair of 2-run HRs by Merrifield and Walker weren't enough for the dastardly double dozen. FYS, 6-4. G2: Pham led off the game with a moon shot. Lemahieu countered with a grand slam in the 2nd, but Jints counter-countered with a 4-spot in the 5th on a Perdomo triple, Merrifield double, and Fraley HR. RB2, 6-4. G2: Cease struck out the side in the first and it was all downhill after that as he allowed 5 runs in the second, including a Santander grand slam. 6-4 FYS going to the 9th. Estevez in for the save and he whiffed Garret and Moore; 2 outs, no one on. Then a Perdomo double, Pham BB, Merrifield single, and Slater BB, and it was 6-5 with bases loaded. After a heated mound visit with lots of F-bombs, it was decided to stick with Carlos. The F-words turned out to be "faith restored" as Christian Walker popped out to end it. WHEW! FYS, 6-5. | 3 games | |
